Status & Notes:

So, yeah, I'll make a confession. When you really know what you're doing in this game... it is pretty easy. This is the first time I've ever played this, making a real concerted effort to do correct level-ups with the equipped espers... and my Magic Users just own... I seriously think Chadarnook probably took me 15 minutes to kill the first time I ever faced it, not knowing what I'm doing. Now, I had Terra damage capping it with Fira... also, currently, Sabin is dealing about 3800 damage on a normal attack. This is also the first Final Fantasy that I can think of where a base stat can go over 100. Interesting.

So, yeah, I'm not hating the gameplay as much as I remember. Of course, again, that's because I now know what I'm doing. The whole story aspect though... still ick... so good for most of the game, then they go to the World of Ruin, and there is no set story... just go kill Kefka, and learn little bits about your characters on the way... sigh... it really is like there were two different story teams on this game.
