Where I Currently Am(Tactics Advance): Corrupt Judges
Where I Currently Am(FF X): Sphering up the Sphere Grid (and farming more money)
Stuff Did Today(Final Fantasy Tactics): All the missions at the pub were completed... so we went to retire back to St. Ivalice to... wait, what? We're still not done??? But we have stars on our clan information... oh fine. Judge Cid discovered that there have been some corrupt judges about since they are no longer under palace supervision... handing out immunities and letting people create their own laws. So, Clan Canard is now Ivalice's IAB. Well, we took down a few people abusing this, and then found a law dealer operating out of Cyril, and took him down.
Stuff Did Today(FF X): Decided to try out the Don Tonberry AP trick, which works wonderfully... however, than I discovered I would need to purchase 111 Winning Formulas so that I could get Triple Overdrive for everyone... also, made sure I had 3 slot Triple AP weapons for everyone... took a little farming on One-Eye to do so... also, I decided I kind of like the Sleep Sprout money making method.
Status & Notes:
Alright, few things to talk about today. Let's start with Tactics Advance. We are into the post-postgame now... We have Cid on our team and we're going around cleaning up the streets. Funny, how this is probably the most coherent plotline in the game and probably 95% of people who play this game will never get to see it. The real disappointing thing, for me, is the lack of real difficulty in the endgame. Yes, I know this is a Tactical RPG, and there is an inevitability that you would become super powerful, but really, there are so few things in the game that are immune to status effects that any boss mission is laughable. I will say that Shadow Clan mission actually put some small amount of fear in me, however the Assassins never tried to use last breath, and none of my characters came close to dying... but seriously, I would love a boss fight where they're immune to toad and I can't just steal their immunity away...
Over in FFX, I started playing around a little. Decided to try out the Don Tonberry trick so I could start moving everyone around the Sphere Grid... and I come to a conundrum. The trick really only works well if you have a weapon with All 3 of Triple AP, AP->OVerdrive and Triple Overdrive. Now, the thing is to have this on weapons for all 7 characters is going to cost me like 7.2million gil... ugh...trying to decide if its worth it, or if I should just try and make do and take a little longer with some other characters... I dunno... something tells me I'm going to give an and make the weapons for everyone... it really is quick... like 70 sphere levels in like 3 minutes.
Today... well, I may actually finish Tactics Advance... that is if people stop attacking my Jagds once a month. .. not sure if I'm going to get any FF X work in today. We'll see how it goes.
