Status & Notes:
Yay!!! Figures... first time I send all 4 chocobos to Besaid... the 4th one comes back with the Garment Grid. So, now I only have 1 garment grid to go. I'll be starting on that tonight... I printed out a list of all the Via Infinito encounters so I'll be able to mark off which ones I need to get oversouled... thankfully I already have Chac... that's the tough one... I can probably make things easier by fighting certain monsters in the arena until they're about to oversoul and then heading back into Via Infinito... I'm mostly thinking of ones like Paragon. I'll get it done...
Also, before I head to the end of the game, I am going to run around as much as possible to find whatever scene I missed. I'll rewatch all the treasure spheres and head back into the engine room and all the different areas of the ship if I have to to try and get it.
FF XI is really going to be boring this week, as all I'm going to be doing is levelling and hopefully getting as much money as possible.
For the oversoul stuff, you can get the kills for the monster type up and make the enemy oversoul, but if you kill the oversouled enemy in the Arena, that's where it doesn't count. So what you can do is get each enemy type to oversoul, and then don't kill the enemy.
ReplyDeleteThen when you go through Via Infinito, just run from all fights. You don't have to kill the oversouled enemy for them to count in the bestiary, just see them become oversouled. If you just run from everything all the way down and make sure you hit a fight with each enemy you need, it shouldn't take too long.
