Status & Notes:

One thing I like about this game and its evolution from the previous Final Fantasies is how it really melded in some of the mini-games into the plot. Sure, there were examples before this. The Opera House and Locke's South Figaro mission from Final Fantasy VI to name a couple, but I remember many more instances here. Also, as we'll get into later in the game, a lot of the minigames are just that much more robust and a good distraction when you want to step away from the main game for a bit.

Of course, that being said, I am still stuck in Midgar... though I'm making progress. I would like today to get out of Midgar... and make it to  *shudder* Calm... */shudder* Oh, the insane amount of plot that has to get covered there before we can actually start going through the world... we'll touch more on that tomorrow hopefully...

So, yeah, on a separate side note... it is EXTREMELY nice to be able to get the setup done in like 3 minutes... it was taking me 30 minutes + per day by the end of tactics. At least in the other tactics games there are FAR less people I'll be keeping in my party... but we've got a bit before that. Let's see how it goes
