Oh, the laughing hands of fate and whimsy... so yeah... in the middle of my Siren levelling of Red Dragons... (Blink + Berserk for the win once you have a Wyvern Lance)... I had bought a set of 50 Sirens... which I was preparing to go replenish... and my last drop was a Red Tail...  sweet...

So, yeah... up to level 80 which is really the absolute minimum of what I could consider taking on Proto-Babil... I think my plan is to either get a 2nd Red Tail and start the rest of the farming... or hit level 90 and start the rest of the farming... The farming will consist of 3 Onion Helms for Rosa, Rydia, and Kain... and maybe Onion Gloves for Cecil... may need them... we'll see.         

Not positive I'm going to be able to finish this up today... but I'd sure like to...
