Stuff Did Today (FF X-2): (We're back!) Began by roaming Spira and racking up some PR & Marraige Points... than I made a decision to continue on with the plot, rather than spending a lot of time right this second to do alot of Creature Creator stuff. Turns out it probably is a little better to wait a little bit to do all that... and anyway, I'd rather get all the good stuff coming up... so we headed to Bikanel desert where strange stuff was washing up in the Oasis, like Rikku's Special Sphere! The Leblanc gang was there to ambush us, and we defeated them getting our last uniform in the process.

With all our uniforms in hand, we proceded to Leblanc's mansion to retrieve the broken sphere they stole from us. So, we donned the uniform and entered the hideout where Leblanc was consorting with none other than Youth League's Meyvn Nooj... and was told it was time to... retrieve Leblanc's tension... with a massage of course... So, we did so... and Leblanc fell asleep. Thankfully, Ormi and Logos were around and told us we needed to make sure the control panel was working for the secret panel... its like being beaten over the head with a duh stick.. We entered their secret tunnels and found another Crimson Sphere before locating Leblanc's room which contained.... Both halves of the the broken sphere. We beat up the whole gang and they "allowed" us to watch the sphere which showed the location of Vegnagun.

We then proceded to Bevelle and descended into the temple, where underneath the Chamber of the Fayth lie an even deeper cavern... and a Ribbon... which takes for flipping ever to get access to... we did so, and finally descended to find a huge machina with 5 different platforms... what it could it be for??? Tune in to find out...

Stuff Did Today(Dissidia): Brought Tidus, Bartz, Squall, Zidane, and Terra all to Level 100

Status & Notes:

Ah, finally back to Spira. Feels good! So, we got a decent bit done today... finished doing all the PR/Marraige stuff for Chapter 2, so that is good. Then, I decided that I'd hold off on doing my monster training, and go ahead and finish up Chapter 2. This way, I can just put my team together and train em up in Chapter 3 with a little easier shot at training their stats as well as getting access to Black Sky and some other useful abilities.

So, we head into a couple of my favorite areas in the whole game.... at least in design. Leblanc's Hideout is a cool new area. Nice and short with a couple decent puzzles and stuff to find. The Bevelle Undercroft... is completely awesome... except it really needs some more save spheres. Huge puzzles here, which admittedly could be explained a little better as to how they work, getting the step slider thing to work is a complete pain... though good for levelling as you have to fight a boss EACH time you move a stupid step... all this for a Ribbon... sheesh.

I was getting tired before the Bloodlust/Wring machina puzzle... so I went ahead and just did the lift puzzle stuff basically so I could get access to the save sphere after it... don't worry you can backtrack back to the big machina.... so that's where we'll begin tonight, and we'll talk more about THAT puzzle then... as well as a bit more about the plot to the game since it will certianly come a little more into focus.

  1. Did you fail the massage mini-game on purpose the first time so you can win the Heady Perfume instead of the Gold Hairpin? Heady Perfume is actually better as well as being unique. Gold Hairpins can be bought and bribed later on, plus they aren't all that great in my opinion.
