Stuff Did Today (FF X-2): In the Calm Lands, fiends started pouring out of the Cavern of the Lost Fayth... great that there were a ton of tourists in there right??? We had to run in there and rescue the remaining people... who had managed to steal some of the power cores for the teleporters... wait how did they do that? Also, we got a Besaid Key for rescuing one of the people, ya know, one of the ones the lady was selling for 900,000 gil back in Besaid... now for free!!! Anyway, after rescuing everyone we went to the Chamber of the Fayth were Dark Yojimbo was waiting for us... we had to take him out..
Next we returned to Besaid to use our key... we got the search sphere which let us scour the island for 4 more hidden numbers which unlocked a secret room in Wakka's cave. We were able to get a Garment Grid for our troubles.
Finally, we headed back to Bevelle, where Gippal was hanging around... we followed him back into the undercroft where we stumbled upon a meeting between him, Baralai, and Nooj! So much for the lost leaders of Spira. They talk about how Vegnagun has run away from Bevelle, because it can sense when someone wants to harm it. We also discover that they knew each other and Paine from training in the Crimson Squad... and that Nooj had shot the others at some point. Why? Well, because he was possessed obviously... and now the spirit prefered Baralai for his host... we then have a three way mexican stand off and everyone gets away...
Stuff Did Today(Dissidia): 50 more fights... 0 more pink tails...
Status & Notes:
Kind of an all-around rough day today... first really didn't make any progress in Dissidia as I couldn't get any Pink Tails to show up... then in Final Fantasy X-2, I got myself a couple of game overs... they happened in the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth... the first was from an oversouled Rhyos who just had too much HP for me to take down... the second was on Dark Yojimbo as I let him get his overdrive off while everyone was poisoned... not that the second one really mattered, I accidentally went into the chamber before resucing everyone so I was going to have to reset anyway...
One of the problems I think I'm having right now in FF X-2 is that I haven't trained up a White Mage at all... I've just been relying on all the offensive power I get from Bloodlust and Wring and combo power from Trigger Happy to kill things before they kill me, and at some point Im going to need to heal... I'm probably going to switch Yuna over soon I'm thinking.
Okay, so my apologies for not posting this yesterday... I just couldn't get myself up to do all the writing yesterday. I can however look from the future, and tell you that I will have 0 playtime today!!! I'll have some more topics to talk about tomorrow, however.
