Stuff Did Today (FF XI): Finished Levelling up to 10... discovered the Field Guide system... then took on the last tutorial quest venturing out into the Canyon to retreive a Gate Crystal. I then returned to Windurst and accepted my first Mission!

Status & Notes: 

Wow, sorry I forgot to write this out yesterday. I'll have today's stuff up this evening. Basically, I'm still discovering quite a lot of things in FF XI. Thank god for the Wiki as well, I can't imagine having to explore and talk to everyone when this game first came out without all the resources available to you. I haven't decided to take on any professions yet, though I know eventually I will. I'm kind of still just, living off the land so to speak. Using what I find along the way. I know this won't work forever, but, I'll take it as far as I can.

Ventured over to Tahrongi Canyon where I had to pick up the Mea Gate Crystal, which apparently is needed to teleport there as a White Mage later in the game. I've started discovering the various shops and what not, bought some attack spells which apprently are very very good. Also, I started on the Windurst missions. I picked up the first one, though I do think I'm going to need a good training run before I actually start on completing it.

Today, not planning on getting any more X-2 in... will probably another couple days before I do. Hopefully can get quite a few levels today in X-2 so maybe I can start on the mission tomorrow.
