Stuff Did Today(Final Fantasy Tactics): Nothing

Stuff Did Today(FF X): Okay, so, we climbed over the pass of Mt. Gagazet, on the other side, Seymour was waiting for us, apparently he slayed all the Ronso or something. So he climbed into his soul armor and we destroyed him again. Next, we had to go INSIDE Mt. Gagazet and do some underwater tests. Finally, we exited from Mt. Gagazet. Here, Auron told us that Lady Yunalesca, the first ever summoner to defeat Sin was an unsent waiting for us at Zanarkand. She would send fiends to test us. She sent the Sanctuary Keeper and we killed it.

As we approached Zanarkand we found a huge wall of Fayth that were all in the midst of summoning? Summoning what you ask? Why Zanarkand of course... that is the Zanarkand that Tidus is from. The Zanarkand of 1000 years ago. Apparently, Tidus, Jecht, and that Zanarkand is merely a dream of the Fayth. Their greatest desire is to stop dreaming. To do so, Sin must be defeated once and for all... and of course doing so will cause Tidus to cease to exist.

We enter Zanarkand and head toward the Cloister of Trials, seeing the visions of many former summoners, including the approach of Yuna's father Braska. We enter and solve the Tetris puzzle and Yuna descends into the chamber of the Fayth... except it is empty. We all head down and proceed to see Lady Yunalesca. She explains that the Fayth of the Final Summoning is created by turning one of the summoner's guardians into a Fayth which is then one time use only. Sin is then recreated around this Final Aeon, thus Sin can never die. Well, we decide that we're really tired of this cycle and refuse to go through with it. So, Lady Yunalesca attacks us... apparently as a 1000 year unsent, she is also become quite the fiend. We take her out, and then are picked up by Cid and the Al Bhed in the now repaired airship.

We don't have many ideas of what to do, but Auron thinks Mika knows more than he is letting on, and the girls have figured out that we can use the Hymn of the Fayth to make Sin docile for when we attack him... its a start I guess

Well, with the time to possibly Save Spira... its obviously time to wander the world and complete sidequests!!! First, we return to the Zanarkand Cloister of Trials because darn it we didn't find a Destruction Sphere. So, we locate all the white squares on the floor, blow up a TV and get our final prize. Next, we go try and get some revenge in the Calm Lands on that Chocobo Trainer... except the tables are turned and it is me who the revenge is taken out on...

Status & Notes:
So, yeah... almost 7 hours play time... I can't be sure, because I refuse to look back on 340 days of recaps... but this may be the longest amount of playtime in one day since I've started the project... and it is a good thing too, because I had a lot longer to go in the storyline than I thought!!! First, I completely forgot you had to go INSIDE Mt. Gagazet... after it took me like an hour and a half to finsih walking to Seymour... Luckily, I find the Zanarkand trial about the easiest one of all of them... and I don't even use a walkthrough to do it quickly. It's really to figure out what shapes are what, and really it all goes pretty quick, which is really thankful after all the times I screwed up Bevelle.

I will be doing ALL the sidequests... so getting all the Aeons... all the Ultimate Weapons... killing all the Dark Aeons... finishing the Monster Arena... and finally Killing Penance. The first major minigame I will be completing is the Chocobo Race... of course I really should be done with it... I've had 2 runs where I really should've gotten 0.0.. on each of them I missed a balloon on the opening straightaway that would've gotten it for me. Oh well... I am slowly getting more consistent and have a pretty good strategy for dodging the birds which is the most important part... the depressing part of this is you cn start a race and realize you have no chance whatsoever since if the first couple balloons are on the left hand side you have no chance... none!

Anyway, after this is done, I am going to start on some monster catching... first and foremost is catching some dragons so I can get Purifying Salts to make some No Encounters stuff... this is very important and time saving... once I do this, I can start going to some of the newer areas... I'll probably make a list at some point... not right now though.

Alright, time for my final two characters to go through for Tactics Advance... they are my 2 Nu Mou of course. The first is Orsiny. He will be my pure magic Nu Mou... most likely he will spend most of his time as an Alchemist/Sage with White/Time/Black support. Brish is going to be more often than not my Morpher once I start capturing enemies. He will probably use mostly White Magic as support since I'll need some healers... but he'll learn a bunch of Black Magic as well...

Today... well, I'm hoping I can finish the darned Chocobo Race... that would really make me happy...
