Stuff Did Today(FF X): Collected some monsters... not enough to claim the Mars Sigil yet, but getting there.
Status & Notes:
Alright, got some stuff done today. First, I want to talk about a really bad mistake I made. Turns out, I'd been confusing the Hunter abilities Hunt and Capture... Yeah, you can collect enemies for your morpher pretty much from the beginning. Really, this doesn't change too much, its not like there's anything I've really missed out on. What it is going to change is I'm probably going to just grind a bit of AP so I can make sure to get that on Malchelo asap... and since I'm really not as overlevelled as I once was, again, not really a bad thing.
I really like the Monster Arena capturing thing in FF X. I like it for a couple of reasons. One, it forces you to revisit all the areas of the game, and it is always nice to have a reason to do that. Second, it kind of gives you a tier in between your levelling gear and the celestial stuff, and pretty much nets you most of what you'll need to make fully customized end of game armor, so that's nice too. Also, it is nice that the rewards are incredibly awesome. It is absolutely necessary to do this if you want to max out your Sphere Grid, which I do... because I want to fight Super Bosses...
Also, while I was capturing some stuff, I got some practice in for some lightning dodging in the Thunder Plains for the Venus Sigil in a bit. I remember being able to do it pretty easily the first time I 100% the game, and pretty quickly I was getting in a groove. The Venus Sigil will probably be the next Sigil I get after the Mars one... followed by the Mercury Sigil and the Saturn Sigil.
So, today, more monster capturing!!! And in Tactics Advance... hopefully some Monster Capturing!!! Heh... Anyway, expect the FF X current setup this evening sometime
