Stuff Did Today(Final Fantasy Tactics): None

Stuff Did Today(FF X): Went back out to the Thunder Plains and successfully dodged over 200 lightning bolts in a row. Next, I headed over to Macalania Woods and while I was there upgrading Lulu's Onion Knight, I figured I would go catch some butterflies. A little while later I had caught all of them so I headed back to the Thunder Plains to catch a spirit cactuar to retrieve Kimahri's weapon the Spirit Lance. I upgraded that, then headed out to the desert to catch some guardian cactuars. After running around a while, I found them and was able to liberate the Mercury Sigil from the village of the Cactuars.

With all the Celestial Weapons in hand, I headed off to face Sin. We beat up his fins enough so Cid could shoot them off with a big electro gun thing on the airship. And then the gun broke... how, I don't know... so we jumped onto its head and beat that up. It then decided to grow some wings... so we beat up his face until he opened his mouth... then we entered it, and basically something out of the Twilight zone went on... we're all psyched to face him... so obviously it is time to board the airship and go do some more stuff in the meantime.

Status & Notes:

YAY!!!!! Done with what was probably my most dreaded task for this whole project. I mean collecting the Celestial Weapons as a whole. It is long and arduous, and really just annoying at times. If I had to rank them in order from easiest to hardest I'd probably go.

1. Yuna
2. Rikku
3. Auron
4. Wakka
5. Kimahri
6. Lulu
7. Tidus

The difference between Lulu and Tidus is kind of negligible. Completely different kind of ways however. While Tidus's is pure skill and gaining muscle memory. Lulu's is all about being able to maintain complete focus for like 20 minutes of being able to twitch split-second. Its certainly simple in the conceptual sense, but in practice, it is quite annoying... I doubt there would be anything as deflating as getting to like 197 or 198 dodges and then missing.

So, really, I classify FF X as a game with really 3 different "sections". The first section is comprised of going through the game, up to the airship. The second part of the game is really collecting the Celestial Weapons and working on unlocking things in the monster arena. I group these together because you really can't work on these and be able to hit for over 10k... The third part then is really training for and defeating all of the super bosses in the game. I call them sections because really each of them take about the same about of time to do...

So, now what? Well, I may have finished the Celestial Weapons, but I still have plenty to do. I'm going to be splitting my time between training in the Omega Dungeon to up my stats as well as go around and work on capturing more monsters... I will need to eventually capture 10 of all of them after all...
