Status & Notes:

One more game over today in FF X... this one was a Confusion related one... I've since changed my strategy for the Triple Ahriman fight. I'm still probably about an evening's worth of AP grinding away from being able to go ahead and switch to the Capture weapons for Inside Sin... I'm also considering whether or not I may make a Break Damage Limit Capture weapon for Tidus... just to make things easier... I may... we'll see.

Meanwhile, over in Tactics Advance land... I went through the Foreign Fiends sidequests and did some interesting things. First of all, I only gained about 2 levels for everyone through it... Yes, I probably should have used it to gain more... but I will be fine, I'm not really concerned about being underlevelled at any point. I also, went ahead and captured the Big Malboro Neochu... which you are REALLY not supposed to be able to do. This leads me to talk about Addle... yeah, the status effect which essentially breaks the game. The idea of Addle is it completely disables all equipped abilities ona  character.... INCLUDING the reaction and support abilities. Now, since there is a regular Malboro in the fight too, you can actually Addle the Big Malboro to rid yourself of the Block Arrows reaction ability and then go ahead and Capture it... so... now I have a high level Malboro! Which... unfortunately I can't level up until the postgame... Malboro's only gain stats from Elixirs... which you can't buy until you have ALL 30 areas liberated.

So, anyway, today. We will FINALLY move on in the Tactics Advance story... we have one side mission to go, but its really quick... just a couple of Blue Magic spells to learn from it, and maybe capture 2 of the monsters I think, but really not bad. There will be more FF X this evening, but as I said above, this will really just be another AP grinding day.
