Status + Notes:

And thus on the 100th day... I'm an idiot. Yeah, so I was trying to plan something interesting for the 100th day recap... you know, like maybe Kain having a class change or something. And then, I have to go and do something REALLY dumb. What could be that dumb you ask? Well, after finally finishing Edward's challenge dungeon runs. I start Kain's Tale, and promptly decide to save that file OVER Edward's finished file... crap. So, yeah, now I'm stuck REDOING all of Edward's Tale... I'll post the final stats when I'm done with those runs... currently I'm 1 of 10 runs done in the challenge dungeon.

Also, would like to talk about Kain's tale a bit. In the Wii version of the After Years, this is not a separate tale, Ceodore has no challenge dungeon, and you just go right onto Kain's Tale... making it really long, and really hard. After all, you don't get the level grinding and the Mist Cliff monsters can hurt you... and I always felt the encounter rate is much higher in the Wii version. Ah well.... I'm playing PSP.

My goal for the day is to finish Edward's Challenge Dungeon... and no matter what do at least 1 dungeon in Kain's Tale so I can continue to have some plot to report.

Happy 100th day... sigh...

Spoiler Alert... Sarcastic Plot Developments of the Day:

One day on Mt. Ordeals, Kain hears voices in his head. He decides he should leave and head back to Mysidia... but just as he gets to the bottom of the mountain, the voices compel him to return to the top... dumb voices. So, after climbing ALL the way back up, we run into Porom. Being enchanted by her Pink Hair, Kain decides to help her out by destroying all undead with a single jump... where's that command when you need it... sheesh.

So, we bring her back to Mysidia, where we already played this part, and it ends up we take the Water Crystal and follow Miss Blue Hair into the Devil Road. So, we follow her back through Palom's evil maze, and she gives us fairly useless bits and pieces of what's currently going on with Cecil... through her point of view at least. So, we get to Baron, and Kain is pumped because he will finally get to KILL CECIL!!! But wait... Miss Blue Hair has gone back on her word, and decided that Kain needs to go get her more crystals... because she's lazy and won't do it herself... and so he gets on an airship and nabs Fabul's crystal, which means off to Damcyan.

Meanwhile, Hoodie and Ceodore have decided its time to climb a sheer rock face. That's alright, its not so bad when the cliff face has clearly marked climbing points on it right? So, we're climbing, and since Ceodore is inexperienced at such things he falls down. But, if we refer to Chapter 6 Section 4 Paragraph 38 of the JRPG handbook, we see that main characters can survive falls of near infinite heights, so after the Hoodie descends a bit, we see that Ceodore is fine... as we approach Kaipo we see the Red Wing airships heading toward Damcyan...

TO BE CONTINUED!!!
