So, back to a party setup. I have to say I really like Edge's tale. The mini-tales are kind of neat. I'll reiterate, I wish I had done it before the other Tale's since it kind of gives a preview of what's happening in other places, and the events seem to take place before the other tales begin. But, really its a minor inconvenience as the majority of the tale centers around the Tower of Babil. So, I did, barely, get as far as I wanted to. 

 

Today, however, I wish to kind of push myself... which is going to be tricky since I want to also spend some time setting up my new laptop. But, I'd like to finish Edge's Tale and finish his Challenge Dungeon.

Spoiler Alert... Sarcastic Plot Developments of the Day:

Tsukinowa, has disguised himself as a normal kid, who mysteriously washed up on shore near Mysidia... more on this later. Anyway, he's there and makes some friends, and hears about a secret meeting, so obviously we need to sneak in... To do this, he finds his friend who's recently learned the Toad spell. This spooks the guard out front... even though there's lots of Black Mages through the village, who seem to have no qualms about turning certain Black Knights into Toads and Pigs... So, he learns that Porom is off to Mt. Ordeals so lets follow her. Strangely, all the monsters are gone around Mysidia... not sure why... I'll bet Palom got bored and killed em all... So, we climb Mt. Ordeals, and at the summit, Porom disappears, but we're not so worried about that because the Tower is a glowing. So let's race back to Eblan... by WALKING ON WATER!!!! Who does he think he is?!?!?

Zangetsu, the old guy, is a dwarf... and after a hard days work, the other dwarves lament the fact that White Dwarves Can't Jump...or remember the slang of the area apparently. So, they're drinking the night away and is tasked with getting the guards to join in the party. So he goes outside the castle and there's that glowing tower again... So, let's jump off the castle... since apparently, our old ninja friend fancies himself to be some kind of human kite... okay... still think he's gonna break a hip one of these days... and we go through boring cave #482 to get us back around Eblan.

Gekkou... the ninja of little distinction... is by Fabul and is investigating the meteorite that has landed there. He immediately sees Miss Blue Hair kick the crap out of some supposedly Highly trained Monks... and starts to give chase. After travelling along the crater wall, using piles of poop to traverse the many jumps that are around, he once again finds Miss Blue Hair and has a choice, he can help the monks or not... Being the proud ninja of little distinction that he is... he sits on his ass and starts back towards Eblan, his method of travel still unknown.

Edge is setting off for the tower, going back through the Cave of Eblan. He stops at his parents grave, and says that the tower is glowing so you know what that means... no, seriously what does it mean? Maybe, they installed some LEDs in it or something, I don't know. Just before he gets into the tower, Edge starts to hallucinate... I think he might have taken some of Tsukinowa's weed... and he has visions of Rubicante. So, for the third time he uses the secret entrance into Babil, which according to the Evil Overlord's Handbook, we are never allowed to close. As he climbs, we fight some tough? monsters, and one by one the Eblan Five come back together for their Reunion Tour through the Tower of Babil. Seriously though, these 5 have more bands than a 90s alt-rock guitarist... So, what will they find atop our Glowing Tower of Fun?
