And so we begin Palom's Tale part 2... also known as Porom's Tale. Yeah, for some reason most of Porom's tale deals with Palom's desire to become a Sage. It again, takes place in the past. Literally beginning DIRECTLY after the original FF4. I know the end deals with Porom, but still kind of an odd way of doing this. Kind of like they were making the story up as they went along... anyway.

Didn't have a lot of play time today. Was setting up my new laptop. My goal for today is to finish the Tale and maybe get a run or two in the challenge dungeon.

Spoiler Alert... Sarcastic Plot Developments of the Day:

After defeating Zeromus, its time for Palom and Porom to once again begin their lessons with the village Elder. Palom is nowhere to be found so Porom runs off to find him. He, of course as we all know is bragging to Leonora out by the pond. Porom drags him back to his lesson and he is punished by doing 2 hours extra spell transcription... that'll show him. Palom thinks that becuase they helped save the world and everything that they don't need lessons any more and he wants to be just like Tellah, because HE'S A MAN!!! HE WAS... way older than 40... anyway. The Elder basically talks in a bunch of wise circles until he convinces Porom he's not ready to go until he's ready to go. And next thing ya know, we're ready to go... to Kaipo that is.

Palom begins his Sage training by visiting the grave of his idol and his daughter... and then takes off for the Undergroudn Waterway. He reflects at the beautiful bridge where he first ran into Cecil, and then heads deep within to slay the big monster that Cecil and Tellah slayed valiently when passing through here. Except this time the monster is Cooler... does that make the original one Frieza??? 

We now head several years in the future, but still in the past. Palom is still doing some sage training... though he still has not learned a single white magic spell, wtf? He and Porom are supposed to be catching a ride with Cid to Mist... though Palom is once again nowhere to be found. Of course that's because he's already on the boat. Always the last place you'd think. So, apparently over these last few years Palom has discovered hairclips, and Porom got into the pink hair dye... teenagers... so they get to Rydia's house and her emo portrait. She agrees to help Palom with his plan that he was keeping secret. He wants to go train in the Feymarch.

So, Cid takes them into the underworld, and we stop to go say hi to the dwarves... which Palom is none too excited about. So, we say hi to king and we see Teenage Luca... who is VERY excited to see Palom. Anyway, back on the ship and Luca has him cornered... he has nowhere to go... but wait, it's time to land, and Luca's gotta help Cid... awww.
