Status + Notes:

Well, luckily, I did not get my new laptop today, so didn't have to spend any time setting it up. Therefore, I was able to race through and actually complete my objective for the day. Which was more difficult than I thought it would be. The whole thing with Edge's Challenge dungeon is that it is a speed run... but really they all turn into speed runs anyway. The only thing that this emphasis changed was that it made me run through it a few extra times until I was high enough level and geared to make it through in 10 minutes... All in all though, a very enjoyable tale, one of my favorites so far... and on to Porom's Tale!

Oh yeah, the Game Over was from trying to take on the challenge dungeon at too low a level. You get ambushed by a Chimera Brain and basically everyone is going to take 1000 damage... silly CurrHP based abilities... ah well. No Biggie.

Spoiler Alert... Sarcastic Plot Developments of the Day:

So, The Eblan Five march up the Tower of Babil and finally make it to the Crystal Chamber where they see Miss Blue Hair again. Gekkou points out she's the one who came in the meteor and beat up Krillins and they must not engage her head on. This fact is also brought up during Edge's continued hallucinogenic trip where he is told by His Mother, Father, and Rubicante that he cannot beat the girl. So what do we do? Walk right up to her of course. They engage in banter where Edge proves he is awesome by retreiving intelligence from Miss Blue Hair until she gets irked and decides they must die! She summons Ifrit, which only pisses off Edge more, because ya know, he loves the Green Hair and slowly backs away from the fight???

Then Miss Blue Hair shows off the skills she learned on the Planet Yardrat and uses Instant Transmission to get behind the Eblan Five. They slowly back into the Crystal Chamber where Edge remembers the trap door. He takes it and proceed to make like King Arthur and RUN AWAY!!!!! They run to the old airship hanger from games previous where there is no airship and are therefore trapped. Edge decides since everything that's happened is so familiar that obviously they will be saved if they just JUMP!!!

So, they magically land on Luca's airship, which in another twist of irony IS the airship they got from the Tower of Babil in the first place. So Edge sees Rydia and is all "Oh Rydia, I love you, but where is that strange theme music coming from?" Here is the MAN IN BLACK!!!! Underworld Defender... Here is the MAN IN BLACK!!! And he will not surrender... or tell us who he is, or any other information. Because there is no time! We have to stand around and get where we're going. No time for idle chit chat here!
